May 1st – Part II “The Empire Strikes Back”

6000 troops and a 370 mile long, triple layered fence on the border with Mexico. Is that what the “one day without an immigrant” got them? It seems it is. The president just authorized the placement of 6000 troops on the border with Mexico and the Senate just approved the building of a fence along the border with Mexico.
I guess things are not going the way they (illegal immigrants) expected. They thought that by pressuring the government they were going to get something good out of it, but it seems that it just angered the government and now things will get worse for them.
Somehow I had the feeling this was going to happen. What I mean by that is that before the May 1st showing the government just pretended like nothing was happening. They were ignoring the whole illegal immigration issue. Now after May 1st many American Citizens were not happy about what was happening in their country. I know that they are not terrorists, but we all know what the U.S. policy is when negotiating with terrorists, and somehow I had the feeling that they were acting the same way when trying to make the U.S. government to do something about all the illegal immigrants that were in this country. They were demanding too much. And now they will see the consequences.
I am sure that is just the beginning. Many more actions against will follow.
Yay, way to go! Good job on angering American Citizens.
